This colorful aircraft propably looked like this in early 1944. There's a photo of this aircraft that shows it with a White chevron and a white tail, then the aircraft had the chevron replaced with the "White 20" numeral which also can be seen in photos. These photos don't show the tail but it was almost certainly left in white, and by that time, a red band and a white Gruppe bar had been added to other III./JG1 machines so I'm quite confident that the machine looked like this in early 1944
