Smile .... Sorry I have been away....

Hi everyone,

Apologies for not posting for a while.... I have been a bit preoccupied.

First of all I have 2 confessions to make....

1. I have decided to shelve my B-29 project, I suppose indefinitely. My heart was never really in it. I chose the wrong project as a starting point and now I lack the enthusiasm to complete it.

2. I am Mrs Jesters-Ink. Mr Ink did not know about my B-29 project until I had given up on her. So he can't be blamed for that one. I'd been watching him work in photoshop and he'd been helping me with some of my personal projects (crafts and card making ) using photoshop and thought a plane would be easy to do after watching him work. He tells me I did well to get as far as I did with my limited skills (cheeky git).

All that aside, I decided I would like to draw an aeroplane but not some age old pile of junk that you can hardly get any reference material on (Same old, same old... I hear you shout!)

Anyway, my new project which I am very, very please with so far... I started it about 3 weeks ago and have been happily beavering away at it with a little help from my Hubby.

I wanted to get quite a way into it this time just in case I woke up one day and said " profiling just isn't for me". She still isn't finished but very close now.
I would still appreciate any feedback from you guys, Mr Ink isn't always Mr Helpful in this area.

So here she is.... missing a few stencils I might add... thanks to the MOD putting dampers on things.

So that was the secret behind the scenes! I knew somebody had frightened you away: now I know it was Jesters !

Very nice Hawk: looking forward to more.

Re: .... Sorry I have been away....

Better watch out Mrs J, although I missed this post somehow, I am doing my research now
Did you really say

not some age old pile of junk that you can hardly get any reference material
????
I have more books on some old planes than I can carry at once! Particularly 2 Mr J is playing with, the Me262 and Fw190D9 I guarantee you could go broke just buying books on those two planes alone!
Some of those "old piles of junk" are more well researched that the "new piles of junk"
But I won't hold your anti old plane problem against you
