Re: Black Chopper

I don't know about "baby" Huey, it's the same body with twice the engines!

I got a response from the RAF: 250 Pounds for a two year license agreement plus 6-20% royalty fees depending on the product. The good news is that the first 100 Pounds of the 250 is refundable as royalties. So I would only need to sell several hundred of one particular print every two years to break even. That works!

The USCG, in contrast, just say "Please go ahead but do it in good taste, and here's a logo file."

Re: Black Chopper

Go Coast Guard!

BTW, is that fee per-product meaning... per each separate print design?

Attaboy! Funny: I would have thought the Yanks more enclined to try to wrench money out of everything. God save's the Queen's wallet.

Re: Black Chopper

The RAF fee is just stated as "Royalty Fee". I didn't go far enough to find out if it was off the gross or the profit. I assume it is a percentage of the actual sale price.

Re: Black Chopper

as jester said the right questions C'mon all us brits have given money to good causes, i'm a big supporter of the RAFBF (Royal Air force Benevolent Fund), and between us lot put 500 quid towards the vulc, i suppose the RAf has to charge royalties as to support our air force, we dont get enough cash for it, they'd rather see our cash go towards giving our homeless SKY

Re: Black Chopper

I just can't help myself. It turns out ALL the USCG A 109Es were armed, so I just have to include the guns.

Here's the M240 in progress.
