Re: Black Chopper

Here's how 11510 looked before the ADF got hold of it. The Swedes had it since new in 2002. I've added new markings, flotation gear and a different type of tail rotor.

Black Chopper / White Chopper...

Agnt Matt,
Here is your 32 sqdn chopper, sir. Some details still to be changed, steps, aerials etc.
Suggestions welcome.
Does anyone know who to ask for permission to use RAF branding, badges, crests etc on printed work? I scoured the RAF website and found no hint of any kind of PR or enquiry section. I have emailed MOD - I'll see what response I get.
Grubby.

Re: Black Chopper

Let us know how you get on with the MOD, I mailed them 3 years ago and was told they want "their cut", which wasn't a small amount. I have since been told I asked the wrong question or the same question in the wrong way and as long as you do the artwork yourself or/and it does not have the crown on top of the crest, there is no copyright breach.

Re: Black Chopper

As far as I know you can use the red, white and blue RAF roundel. The RAF a couple of years ago tried to copyright it but they lost on the grounds that it had been used in the fashion industry since the 60s and their case was to late. Squadron insignia are Crown copyright.

Re: Black Chopper

Ah well, we shall see what happens. I know the RAAF "Red Rat" roundel is copyright.
So, Jester, what is the right way to ask the right question and what IS the right question?

Boeing, Lockheed, and even the RAF/MoD now! I'm gonna go live in a cave. What is this world we're living in? This is sickening.

PS: Before I go underground, I'll sue each and everyone of you who's modified one of my drawings to give me advice on how to improve my work.
