It’s either a B29 Superfortress, a Washington, or a Tupolev copy.
Which ever it is, it amounts to the same thing.
Yes. Or the 1944 modification of Robo-Pigeon, but I'm not sure there is any photo-evidence of its existence.

Welcome to SPS, Early Bird! Glad to see a lady around these parts. If we're lucky your presence might even compel some of us to start behaving, as Serval just pointed out.

Looking forward to more of your B-29 work.

Tease Re: New Gal on the Block

Hi again,

Sorry I didn't update sooner, I've not had a lot of time to spend on it but here's what I've managed to get done so far.

Going to take me a while to get things right but as long as I'm enjoying doing it, I will.

I have decided I will try to put the gear on it but its early stages, I think you call it "work in progress".

As for easy, I think I've been a bit silly in picking an unpainted aeroplane to do for a 1st project. I think I was drawn in by its apparent easy shape.

My real love is jets. But I think they are far too ambitious to attempt for my 1st attempt.

Hey Blowhard, I think you are confusing two different people here, pkassak posted the b-29 from 2005, and this is Earlies first couple of posts, I don't think they are one in the same, unless you know something I don't.( about this matter that is)

Re: New Gal on the Block

hehe, Blownhard is blown a little bit in here Of course we are two different people. I posted my 2005 "ugly" babe as an answer of what's comming from Early-Bird. I would do it better these days for sure Of course if my companion ZAMEX does all the linings work hahaha

looking also forward to see the progress on B-29 of Early-Bird. Keep up posting!!

Re: New Gal on the Block

You're off to a great start, EB. You have some wonderfully subtle metallic colouring and shading going on there. It is fine enough to not look out of scale or overdone.
Grubby.
