Re: Prototypes

well done sparty, Have yourself a Beer! I somehow knew you'd see through its clever 'lack of current detail' disguise. and Heres an update even though theres still loads to do, like re aligning the canopy glass.

I can't wait to see them! Are you sure you won't do a Flap Jack profile too? ;-)

Re: Prototypes

These are close to a profile photos-

After looking at photos I think you might want to define some of the shapes more.
The nose section to the canopy is basically a cylinder, with a wider lower half, whereas yours looks more like a flat sided oval. It gets pretty complicated from there Notice the scoop/fin, it starts out as an oval with some undercutting where it meets the fuselage but by the middle of the scoop/fin its got a triangle section that fairs smoothly to the fuselage. It ends up as a sharp vertical blade.
Also notice the fuselage from the canopy back; the cross section is a wide oval but at the spinner it becomes completely rounded. I also see there are cooling flaps forward of the spinner.
Interesting details! All of which can be found here-

Great photos, you betcha!

Re: Prototypes

I love that Flap Jack! Never heard about it before. You say there's a FS2004 model for it?
