Hi all... Can anybody help me with pilot and marking's reference for the Yak 3 pls.. preferably the " Normandie-Niemen" but anything really...Im looking for close up pics of insignia and camo scheme plus pilot data if available, this is where i am at at the moment:

Sorry, I've been sick and out of touch . I'll try to collect my stuff and send on Sunday. The thing is, I have very irregular web access. That also complicates things.
My local public library has a story of the NN by J. Courrière, which is not very good but includes some pictures. I can scan them and send them to you if you want me to.
Working on it right now. Don't have that many results yet. I think most of what I know of the NN comes from that book I mentioned. I'll zip and mail it when complete. I'll probably need to go get that book though. The rest will be scans, which may take a tad longer.
The French volunteer regiment aircraft were invariably painted with Grey and Grey-Green uppersurfaces over Light Blue undersurfaces. The NN was the only squadron to carry an arrow across its fuselage. The first squadron had a white arrow and the second one a yellow one. The French also used painted Balkenkreuzes behind and below the canopy to indicate victories, an unusual practice in the VVS.
