Question Layers are hidden

Working on a RAF crest, suddenly all layers are hidden. How do I un-hide them?

Re: Layers are hidden

Do you still see them in the layers window?
If so, then click on the empty suare where you see an eye icon in this tutorial: http://www.simmerspaintshop.com/foru...photoshop.html

If you don't see any, or just one layer in that layers window, I guess that you have merged them accidentally.
Look what happens if you create a new layer in that case.

Re: Layers are hidden

Yeah I see all the layers in the layer window, eye icon too.
But when I click on a layer it goes grey instead of blue.

Re: Layers are hidden

maybe you're in the mask mode... (switch with "q", at least it's the shortcut for CS1)

Re: Layers are hidden

Below the final result.

Had to change the crown, as the first one I used turned out to be the Queens crown, didn't know that .

But here with the Kings crown.

Re: Layers are hidden

Yes, we often see the modern crests with queenscrown. I remember that from the time I was playing with crests
