But serious: VF41 is right about the fact that it is best to have all the same type memory modules, so only 512 MB or 1 GB etc.
So, you better figure that out first. Maybe the invoice mentions it, or maybe you have an account at the Dell website which holds information about the computer. Otherwise it is best to have someone look into the computer for that.

ok just got off the phone to Matt, i asked him about his PC and flight simulator and he was clueless about it, but i reckon if its major brand like dell they'll require parallel RAM 512+512 to make 1GB JUST to be awkward, and i don't think i'm being mean just being his financial advisor, as i know what he'd spend it on if i didnt limit it. put it this way his garage has R/C aircraft in including his precious spitfire with trimmed wings (matt knows the mark number) and the ducted Hawk he's working on, i swear them things take top place with him at times, back to pc, i'll phone about tomorrow see what they say, at this rate i'll be able to write an essay on it and be better than Matt at something, all he's ever done was replace a soundcard.
