Hey, close the hatch on top... It is drafty...

Nice work mate, skinning in Lomac is just a bit more difficult then in Il-2 PF.

I guess, though I've never skinned for IL-2 in the first place. Of course you got a whole lot more references to go off of, sometimes you're just like "I wonder if this works..."

Re: USN Su-33

I notice the stars are gone off that NAVY plane now... I was starting to wonder!

Nice mottling texture. I never got to look too much into LOMAC skinning, in fact I only downloaded a handful of A-10 skins. Skinning for IL2 is a one step process, you can paint and save an 8 bit BMP and you're done, just drop into the folder and fly. You can even swap the texture files out while IL2 is running (I used to do that when testing skins often).

Re: USN Su-33

Hehe it wasn't too difficult, when you skin for years it makes it alot easier to get rid of them. The modellers for ED make a seperate geometry for the stars, so it's just editing the texture and model to get the effect I wanted. I've actually managed yesterday to get the stars on the skin:

Which looks better than this (look at the tail):

As for the IL-2... I wish LOMAC could do the same, but alas you have to go out, and come back in. They have a model viewer which helps somewhat, but so far you can't zoom in to troubleshoot the small stuff, but then again it loads pretty quick, so I don't complain too much.
