Do you use Aces' Mat Manager?

Just curious.

Ok, then please take a close look at these pics below:

Notice any differences?

And nope, the screenies aren't photoshopped more than cropping and contrast adjustment.

Re: Do you use Aces' Mat Manager?

Well, lately Ive been experimenting with Aces' Mat Manager markings and I discovered that the markings can be made transparent. This feature is nothing new actually, but Aces' told me it hasnt been implemented since its difficult to maintain proper opacity without getting too mixed up with the background (skin) texture's color.

But I think Ive discovered a way to lessen the color mixing effects... Ive already wrote to Aces' about this, so...

Take another look at these screenshots that I just made tonight.

If you look carefully, you still can see panel lines and rivets beneath the USAAF markings. I used Spitfire since most US planes have their own US markings in their default skin.

Nice feature.
BTW: What an ugly skin you got there at the bottom...

Let's see, which skin?... The Zeke skin? It's the default in game skin and it's ugly indeed...

But the bottom spitfire skin, IIRC was made by a guy named Serval... Do you know him?
