I've been thinking that it would be a good thing to compile a sort of searchable index of skins available for download at the various sites that now host them. Something like the small pic that Sharx had for ID purposes at IL2Skins. We would not need to link to the skin itself; it would work fine if we just had a general link to the site where it was located.

I'm no programmer, but I can take screenshots and reduce them if anyone wants to give this a try.

You mean every skin on every site out there and make a kind of directory for them?? Sort of il2skins without having the skins 'on-site'?? Its a good idea, but would be a massive amount of work and would need updating daily. Have you run out of 'Wonderdog' programmes to watch or something??

You're right about the impracticality of the idea. I didn't think about the updating part. Guess that wouldn't work.

Me too, especially big, schmoozy Maine Coons. When I was in my 20's I had one who would go for walks with me without a leash, come when called, and even heel if he was in just the right mood.

I like the idea, maybe it's something Google could sort out for us
