32 bit .TGA

How do i save a file as 32 bit .TGA? Trying to do some skinning for an aircraft in Wings over Europe, but it's not working correctly.
TIA

Re: 32 bit .TGA

Ok opened it with Photofiltre then resaved and now it works. Compression issue.

Would still like to know how to do it in Gimp though.

Re: 32 bit .TGA

No info about Gimp but keep in mind TGAs don't support 32 bit unless they've got an alpha layer. A TGA can only be 24 bit without the alpha. Maybe adding an alpha in Gimp will make it 32 bit?

Re: 32 bit .TGA

Hey Stormtrooper, try using the menu option "Layer : Transparency : Add Alpha Layer". That seemed to generate a blank alpha layer and successfully saved it in the .TGA format.
