Some tutorials use flower brushes, in photoshop there is only one leaf.. and that dont make the effect i want to have... i tried to do a pair of brushes with flower themes but they arent good, where can i find brushes with flower themes that have more than one opacity?
Those flowers were defaults built into my Photoshop Elements version. As they are default I'm not sure they can be exported from the program. I'll also check to see if there is a way to make such a brush manually.
Ok, I did some checking. The flower brush I used is built into Photoshop Elements. I'll outline where I found it in a moment. The difference between CS2 and Elements... Elements is a basic low cost version with some features and tools missing, while CS2 is the full package with all tools.
Ok, the brush I used, you can try to find it on CS2. It's a "brush" tool, in the "special effect brushes" drop down category on the brush properties toolbar. I attached a pic of these toolbars (they may be in different places, as I've edited my toolbar layout). Check out the default brush collections in those dropdowns to see if something there will work.
Oh yes, making a brush is easy. Drag a selection marquee around an image area, and click "Edit:Define Brush". This image will then be a brush tip you can select. Also useful, and perhaps in JH_Spit's case as well, is the pattern stamp tool. You can define patterns in the same way as brushes, too (Edit:Define Pattern).
Try Corel Paiinter essentials 3
it has flower brushes and you can adjust the opacity.
I just ordered it but you can get the 30 day demo from corels site.
