Well, this game " Wings over Vietnam " is about 10 times better than what ppl told me about it. I asked around HL, and ppl said the graphics sucked. One guy said he almost puked when he saw them
Well, they were wrong. I don't know if its FB's great map textures or what. That made some think this game looked bad. I love it, and its my new favorite flight sim behind IL2. Bob2 is a close 3rd. The main reason is that it has mods for just about anything you want to fly. I'm hooked on the Korean war mod, I love it.
Well, I didn't start this thread to praise this game, and tell you how you should buy it. Do whatever you want. I like it, and I'm gona start some projects.

This is what I'm working on, the sabre. And I need some help.
I always seem to pick a nutbuster of a project right of the bat, like metal. I'm getting some OK results in photoshop(heres a pic of the nose skin file I'm working on)
As you can see, its still waaaay eairly. What I would like to do is find a good JPEG of a flat piece of Aluimium, and crop it. Then mod it and use it in the skin. This way I could REALY reproduce that alluiminum effect
I've seached all last night and today, and have not found a decent pic to work with. Can anyone help me? Just a pic of a flat, bare piece of alluiminum. Close up if possiable.
