How do I add nose art?

Hi all,

Just a quick question on how would I add noseart in Pacific fighters?

Thanks in advance.

Re: How do I add nose art?

You need to make sure they are 256 x 512 pixels, in the same .bmp format as skins are m8. Also, it seems that the unused portions of the noseart need to be grey (hex. 818181 to be exact) so they will be invisible on the skin. Hope this is of assistance to you, please ask if you are unsure sometimes I am a little unclear on my explanations lol.

Re: How do I add nose art?

The upper half is for one side and the lower half for the other side.
I mention it just in case, since most people (if not all) just use one side.

Re: How do I add nose art?

It never occured to me that half was for each side of the plane, I always wondered why the image had to be so tall. I learned something too now! lol

Re: How do I add nose art?

I figured it and tried it since I needed it for 120sqn_NEI_Rocky.bmp which came with update 4.01 as part of the Dutch add-on.
