Watch Your Step

Hey guys, first off I am new here and this website is great. I hope this is in the right section (if not please move it)

I am working on a skin for an F-18F Hornet and I am wondering what would be the best way to approach this dilemma I am having.

I am trying to make oil or grease or basically shoe marks where the wing meets towards the nose (picture below)

so basically this is what I am aiming for.

So as you can see, right below the pilots is a dirty area. Does anyone have any ideas or a great brush set for CS3 that I can use?

Thanks guys!

Re: Watch Your Step

Welcome to SPS! I'd suggest you use one of these standard brushes on Photoshop:

Name: brush.jpg
Views: 48
Size: 104.0 KB

Make it much bigger before drawing with it, trim the excess stuff, and try blurring, or others filters. Those brushes are also good for irregular erasing.

Also, remember that dirt or grease is not only black.

Hope this helps.
