Saving files in specific folder

Paint shop pro 10.03:

How the F*** do I save a skin to a specific folder?
Excuse my french but this is driving me batty. After I save a skin I always have to search for it.

What I'd like is to assign a specific folder called "saved" and when I save an unfinished template or skin whether it be saved as whatever, it will always be saved there.
so after minmizing PSP I click to "saved" and there it will be so i can continue my work.
Help me please or else! LOL!

Re: Saving files in specific folder

Any time you press the save button, the file will be saved to it's current directory location. So this means that you must use Windows Explorer to move the file to the specific directory you want it to remain in.

Now you will have to navigate within PSP to find the file to open (or simply double click on a PSP layered file), and when you press save, it will overwrite the opened file at it's present location.

If you want to save another copy of the file to another location, use the 'save as' menu option, and from here you may specify the directory where you want the saved copy.

Re: Saving files in specific folder

You can tell PSP to remember the last folder used but if you open another file then it resets to THAT folder annoying yes.
You can, however, set 'favourites' folders - there should be a little drop down tab of the open or save as dialog box ...
