NEGATIVES

Paintshop Pro 10.03;
I was wondering if there is a ONE step proceedure to copying a section so that I can reverse the dark areas vs. the light areas.
I'm working on engine cowlings Bare metal, and I need the top section lightest in the middle darker at the sides then even darker on the bottom.
I was thinking instead of painting it and matching up the ends, if there is a way of simply copying and then reversing the lighter and darker areas.I hope this makes sense.

Re: NEGATIVES

Did you try a negative filter? For greys it will do what you want.

Re: NEGATIVES

Look for a command called 'invert'... likely in a pulldown menu related to color.

Re: NEGATIVES

I don't know PSP, but I'm pretty sure PSP has such a filter.
It makes your image into the negative of a photo. So, for colours it's not usefull for you, but for greys it is.
