Need help

Hello all Newbie here, I have read the tutorial and I am so lost, I have downloaded Paint SHop Pro XI, and I have downloaded some templates I want to use and i have tried Everything to put on some Swastikas on the 109 and some numbers but cannot find how anywhere, as well as taking an Image from a picture and place it on a skin. can anyone help in a step by step in a quick way.

Im Charlie , although I do not have PSP 11 yet, I do have 7 thru 10
It sounds like you need a basic class in Paint shop Pro.
Go to the Tutorial section and download those tutorials , they are done with pictures so all you have to do is follow along.
The first thing you need to know is that Paint Shop and Photoshop all work with layering, which is like numerous transparant pieces of paper that you apply your project too.
Some of these skins can have as many as 50-80 layers depending on how exotic you want to get.
It too me over two years to just get the basics down, so I have alot of trial and error before I had success.
Download those and get back to me, you can message me here or just e-mail me at my regular e-mail Add. don't worry Im retired so you won't be bothering me I have alot of time on my hands unless Im on the road somewhere.

The Paintshop tutorials that Snake has written are very thorough, and he's kindly given permission for them to be converted and posted on this site. I've already converted and posted two, and more will be appearing this week.

Thanks for the help Guys Snake I sent you an Email, here are the Work i have done so far. Many thanks to Abraxa for the templates. and simmers paint shop for some help. 3rd one is messed up when i put it in FB.

Hi Hydrant,
looks like that the 3rd is meant to be for F6F?? But I discovered that the whole skin is shifted to left by nearly 1 cm and 1/2 a cm up (here). See also the white stripe on the right hand side and at the bottom.

I guess that has happend at the start of your mark up....

How Would i fix that because in game it is all screwed up.

In your pspimage file move everything back to the bottom and right untill the whole white border is gone. Make sure you get no new white border at the top and left. If that happens you need to start over again.

When you moved everythin back save it as BMP again and it will look good in the game.
It now looks messed up, because everything is shifted to the wrong location.

Little correction from my side right instead of left. How you do this ?? just grab all (mark as select) and move the whole lot that it covers the picture. Hint here you can also move things mor fine tuned with the arrow keys at yor key board if you press CRTL at the same time.

Hydrant, Im working on your Skin Bubba, I just downloaded some VF-211 logos from the net, and will fix them on your skin and try to get it to you as soon as I can.
Whats happened is that you have Drug some of the layers to the left by accident, which makes it all Caddy Wompus in the game.
All you need to do is line the right side up as they are telling you and readjust it so it all matches.
Don't forget to save your stuff when you move the layers around or you will end up back at square 1 again My Hose Dragger from So Cal.
And Check your E-mails cause I've been writing to you and no response.
Sheesh Public Servants (jk) I was one for 23 years, and directed traffic while you boys put the flames out.
Just follow the advice they gave you and you will be fine.
