I HAVE ALSO TRIED THESE FONTS AND THEY DON'T WORK IN ANY PROGRAMME.

regarding making them bold, you can make them a raster layer then stroke the outsides/centre. i have no problems with the RAF fonts just ensure you have caps lock off and are not trying to type in upper case.
