Problem with 3D effect on P-38 camera housing

I am trying to create a 3D effect on the camera housing for my P-38J. I have a screen shot of what I have. My problem is when I try to make the Bevel and Emboss effect on the left camera housing to be on the bottom of the casing, it changes the shadows on the right housing. Is there away to change the shadow effect to be opposite of the other or is it a problem again with the mirrored template for the P-38? Help

Since you are using a layer style, the entire layer will be filtered. Move one of the pods to a new layer and then apply a style for each with separate settings.

I created a whole new camera pod in it's own layer with it's own panel and rivet lines and lens, it still changes the shadow effect on both camera pods. Im stumped.

No problem Mapal....keep in mind that Use Global Light affects all blending options when it is selected. I prefer to turn it off on everything and adjust the lighting direction myself.

Cheers
Randy
