Patches, Shields, and Ect. Text Help

I am having a little bit of a problem, and am wondering if anyone out there might be able to help. I am trying to put text in the bottom scroll of a USAF MAJCOM/ WG type emblem (Shield) But can't seem to figure out how it is done. I am wondering if anyone knows an easy way to modify text to fit. I have attached an example to show what I mean. If anyone knows how to do this it would be a huge help.

If you are using Photoshop, take a look at 'text on a path' options. There might be something there that can flow text along a path you create.

I don't run Photoshop anymore so I can't offer more detailed advice, sorry!
