Getting along just fine.
One note: the black and white of the number 3 looks a bit bright compared to the cross. (unless it's an ingame marking)

Re: Having a Saving problem with photoshop

Your right Serval.
I tweeked it a bit and toned it down.
A question to both you and Adlabs.
I'm seeing a number of skinners using what looks to be very grainy screens. Is this done in Hi Res? Not sure what I'm talking about really.
I've seen this style a lot as of late.
I'm basically looking at these aircraft like through the eye of my camera taking in the distance,so I havent been accentuating all the panel lines, but I think this tecnique is pretty interesting.
I have been using your screens Adlabs and really like this utility but I would really like to be able to try a few different styles until I find my own nich.Right now I'm just "Winging it".
Any suggested tutorials?

Re: Having a Saving problem with photoshop

Well 'winging it' is really the way I like best myself. Those texture screens I made, quite a few have contacted me with good comments on those.

I think it's probably good to explore each style and see what you like. When I left off in IL2 skinning, I was using mostly the grainy look, but I was by then thinking on more subtle effects. I do recall a very good skinner called CS-Thor... he always had a very smooth effect in his skins which I did enjoy. I got distracted on other projects before I made any progress on this though.

If you're ready to branch out with some new styles, one of the best tutorials is just looking at other artists skins. You'll get the feel of what you like and dislike, and might be able to create your own style out of those tastes. For me this was a very big pleasure, always working out some new way to create an appearance the way I wanted it.
