Really Dumb PS Question

Been trying to use the grey background technique many of you use for aircraft profiles to check shading and highlighting. When I have 128, 128, 128 as my background color, I lose the ability to see the cursor for brush size and location.

Is there a way to change the color of the cursor in PS 7?

Re: Really Dumb PS Question

Not that I'm aware of, Vac.

Applying Caps Lock will toggle the cursor between cross hairs and actual size.

That's the best I can do!

Grubby.

Re: Really Dumb PS Question

Just don't use 50% gray, lighter or darker will do. Or, do your work and the drop in the gray. I used to have that problem doing cockpit textures in RLM 02 or RLM 66

Re: Really Dumb PS Question

Yup there is no fix/solution for this problem. If I lose the cursor I just quickly hit spacebar to toggle the hand/page grabber cursor or as Grubby fingers said Caps Lock.

Re: Really Dumb PS Question

hi mate,

just checked mine, using 128/128/128 i can quite easily see the cursor, i use the precise one which shows as black and white striped with the brush outline as black.
