Well i have seen lots of profiles, with really nice texture/metal effects that make the panels seem more real... than just colour and shading.
Can anyone direct me to some tutorials? Or give me some hints. Are there any photoshop "defaul" effects i can add.

aaaaaaaah never say that 'D' word best way is by hand, and to get a feel look at metal aircraft, best way to learn is to emulate/Practice, no panel on a plane is ever the same as the last in terms of effect some are slightly darker, some lighter etc....
