Skinning for a computer sim? Well if you've got the sim, then next you need a graphics editor, any specific software for skinning your chosen sim (some titles like Flight Simulator have special software tools), and then some grasp of how the process works and knowledge on how to get the desired results from your editor.

Which sim are skinning... or are you wanting to paint aircraft profiles (I ask since this is in the profile painting forum)? What graphics software do you have?

From there what you need can be narrowed down.
