Re: Space: 1999

I got the digitally remastered series of UFO on DVD. Just brilliant. They've done an exceptional job of cleaning it all up.

In my memory banks I recall heaps of model shots. In reality, there's only a dozen or so that they just keep using over and over and over! That was a bit of a disappointment for me. One sequence they simply flipped the footage to make it look like there were more vehicles. Trouble is, it was an asymmetrical vehicle so it was blindingly obvious!

There was also the continuosly appearing and disappearing Interceptor nose missiles!

It's a great trip down memory lane, though.

And nearly everyone in the show smokes. You'll have a small office with 5 smoking men in it. How things have changed.

Grubby.

How rude of me!

Nice work, Clave! I really like your style and attention to detail. Brings back some good memories for me.

Keep it up, mate!

Re: Space: 1999

Not rude at all - I barely saw any of the episodes, so it's interesting to hear what it was all about...
