Re: Cascavel - Light Armored Car

I look forward to seeing how this turns out, the shading on the barrel is a bit low though for the light source compared to some of the other parts, keep the shadows consistent, no idea on accuracy though as it's not got wings

Looking good so far, JG. You've got some good depth and mass going on there. As Inkworm says, watch your light sources. The highlight on the barrel should be around 3/4 of the way up the barrel, not halfway as it is now.

What program are you working in?

Grubby.

That's a neat subject Right now I'd say it'a a little on the dark side.

Try to corrected the light on the cannon barrol, and make all a bit light... plus added some more details... but more still to come.

Re: Cascavel - Light Armored Car

Still need to raise the highlight on the barrel, either that or alter the tyres as the light source for them is coming from a 45 degree angle but a much more oblique angle for the barrel, also I doubt you'd get any highlight what so ever on the turret ring as this is as recessed as the wheel arches which are currently black.

Aircraft are so much easier!
