How about making a header, like they have on military-meshes and mil-art, where the best pieces of artwork, screenshots etc. can be posted ? A sort of hall of fame ? I think there´s many very nice pieces of artwork being posted on this site, and some surely deserves a little extra attention.

Over at mil-meshes I think the moderators decide what they think is good enough. How mil-mesh does it is quite fair and balanced, the diversity of work shown in the header is good. I think there is still one of my 104's in there at the moment

But everything here is good or better! Maybe just finished art? Maybe we submit it? Or maybe the Mods just pick them as they see them....or all of the above?

Well depends on what you want to achieve, I agree that only finished art should be elligable but I think that when a member who isn't as accomplished is showing great progress you could also put it in the header as a way of acknowledging someones efforts and hopefully motivating them to stick to it.

Wouldn't it just be easier to pick the stuff that John doesn't find much to complain about?, then we'll all know it is good!

Happy with the last suggestion otherwise some people who do produce good work might not think it is up to being submitted for inclusion and like you say it'll be a good motivator.
