Making Prop Swirls in Photoshop

A short demo on making swirls in Photoshop

By Adlabs6

1.First make this shape. Very simple to do.

Size: 4.4 KB

2.Then I use the [Distort:Twirl] filter to do this to the image, vary the amount to change the spiral.

Size: 15.6 KB

3.Then mask off a circle around the center of the spiral and fill it with white.

Size: 13.5 KB

4.If you want it to have motion blur, use the [Blur:Radial] filter.

Size: 9.4 KB

Some of the filters I mention may have different names in your software, just try what looks similar.
