More great pics Briyeo, like Blowhard says, I feel like I've been there after looking at them. Looks like there's a stairway leading into the flying boat, do they let the public take a peek inside?

Re: RAF Museum Hendon

They do allow people through the Sunderland Adlabs, but just my luck to go on a day it was closed, some other areas were closed also, the upstairs area you can see in the JU87 shot which seems to be a control room, and an upstairs engine gallery, seems like there was a pattern here to do with stairs, a safety issue maybe? but still plenty to see. The bomber Hall is kept quite dark for visual effect, but that didn't help the photography.

Well I think you did a good job on exposure and keeping steady, in spite of the lighting.

In my experience most museums won't allow a tripod due to safety concerns, but it might be worth asking if a monopod is acceptible if they have very dark conditions that will spoil hand held shooting.

Re: RAF Museum Hendon

I don't like using flash in these places, I think it annoys other visitors and I dont really like flash photography if it can be avoided at all. The camera I used was a 3.2 mp Pentax compact digital, it works really great in low light situations. I will post some more shots later, I got in close on some to examine rivet detail, in fact I couldn't help running my hand along the control surfaces had a few members of the museum staff giving me a funny look.
