Some big old civvy thing without any interesting bombs or anything like that.

It's lacking something though (apart from hardware) and I'm at a loss to work out what right now.

A bodykit so it becomes less ugly? Looks like a plane only a englishmen could design, where did it go wrong for you guys after the spitfire?

i thought you had good taste, the viscount and the vanguard were world leaders in their field, and they were most certainly beautiful aircraft to look at.

They all look the same to me To me this was the start of the idea that with commercial aircraft you get a tube, put in some seats, round off both ends, then stick on the wings, engines and tail bit, they all to a greater extent are identical.

Glad you like the profile though.

I'd pretty much agree with that! With the Boeing 767 being the most obvious example! Atleast with the 747 they tried to do something cool with the nose and cockpit area
