Yeah, I've not had much work lately (UK recession) so cant really afford the one i've got my eyes on at the moment. Gonna wait til things get better. It really is worth saving for the highest spec though they last ages before you need another upgrade. I've had mine 8 years now (just checked you can pick it up for $400 with monitor) and it still flys with Photoshop and Illustrator (CS and OSX 10.4) but I want to start using Modo but my Mac does not run it very well at all.
Yeah that one In The Netherlands we now have a temporarily tax incentive for small companies to invest, in the first year you can write-off 50% of the retail value on all investments over 2300 euro's in first year lower your profit in that fiscal year. Now to get one to be more expensive then 2300 euro's

To be honest Super I think they are a bit of a pain to upgrade with a relatively easy task to do yourself like installing a new RAM chip being an Apple Authorised Technician job. So I'd suggest maxing it out with Ram before shipping. But you get the added bonus of a beautiful Apple screen.
Well you can have the store do most of the upgrading, at the moment I am leaning more towards the camera. Either a 5d or 1ds mkIII (the latter being a bit on the expensive side)
