Re: P-47D Razorback...

ehm... I begin to be a little confused about the colors a little washed out or too dark... on these profiles I have applied the style "lighten" 5% to my level of noise...

BTW I made a new thunderbolt... I hope look good...

Re: P-47D Razorback...

The drop tank looks rather flat sided.

You may also want to check the monitor, I know my laptop is a bit rubbish at times.

Re: P-47D Razorback...

I didn't make the drop tank too round because it looks like a box...

I would tone down the white outline around the panel lines over the OD on the cowling.

Re: P-47D Razorback...

Looking back through this thread I just noticed that your gun barrels are black.

More often than not my reference images show them as chrome/NMF occasionally some severely paint chipped, but very rarely do they appear black.

Its something you may want to address before producing too many more paint schemes.

Its a lesson that I have been slow to learn.

The top and bottom of the tank may be flat but from the front it looks round on the sides so you shouldn't be able to see the flat bottom/top, it could just be the metallic finish which makes it look less rounded than it is.

Love the red tail though

Re: P-47D Razorback...

How amusing. I also made a profile of Gwynne Peirson's #39 on Tuesday. I wonder what the common factor might be?

Nice work, Santino!
