Re: P-40 Warhawk

Gamary-dude,

stick to version 1 - you will get less arguments that way. And, it looks better anyways,

Re: P-40 Warhawk

I think #1 too although I'd like to see a mix of #1 and #2. 70% #1 and 30% #2.
But of the two, #1 is better.

No3
I knew I could count on you John.

BH: I had the same thought, so here's a composite:

Name: AVG, H81-A2, P-8127, No 47, R. T. Smith, 2 PS - composite.jpg
Views: 344
Size: 20.8 KB

Let's call this version 3. This way John has already voted.

Re: P-40 Warhawk

I like the No1 under surfaces it is lighter, as it should be I guess.
But the No3 is quite OK I vote for 3

Re: P-40 Warhawk

Guys,

John (unfairly) entered #3 when it was not in the original race! I think we should all acknowledge that #1 is the way and truth . . .

Re: P-40 Warhawk

I saw some color film of AVG P-4Os and they were definetly in the standard RAF early war fighter colors(dark earth dark green etc).Sorry if this reopens the debate.
