I think this could be a fun topic indeed. But to start you off...

(Best ignore the wonderfully subtle video description! )

Thanks for the Van Halen, although I never was really a fan. They are to "shiny happy people" to me. I'm more in heavier and darker sound (Type O Negative, Moonspell, Amorphis,...), plus the "old school" (Metallica, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, etc.)
TopGun? (Now were back in movies field !)
I don't know, it was nice back in 80's when I was a kid, but today seems to me too big, shiny and polished. Also, every time when someone mention it, I remember that Mig-28 nonsense . I can't forgive them that ! I was much more impressed with Flight Of The Intruder. Although it's typically Hollywood movie, I find it much more realistic and dirty as it should be. Plus, there's a great sentence, during the bar fight in between bomber and fighter pilots: "Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make history!" I'm much more in fighters, but this sentence was !!!
New topic? I don't know, I guess I'm to lazy to start it. I think were doing just fine like this.
