Re: Now where were we?

I've now (finally) completed the big 3 of USAAF fighter types (P-51, P-38, P-47) in both NMF and O/D so I can now quickly and without much fuss draw any of those types that take my fancy. Or I can start something new.

Lightnings are tough to profile, as most period photo's that exist seem to concentrate on the cupola markings, and rarely give a full view.

GFR,

Your best yet (and that's saying a lot!!)

My only nit is that the pitch on the upper and lower blades don't seem to match. In fact, the upper blade looks like a pusher!

Re: Now where were we?

Great work GFR! I love the way the wing blends in to the engine nacelle.

Now that you have done the holy USAAF trinity, don't forget the USN trilogy: F4F,F6F and F4U.

Yeah, I'm not sure whats going on there, I'll have to check my refs, but knowing me, I probably guessed. Thanks for pointing it out, I will fix it.

I have a B-24 in the works, a B-17 right now might just be a bridge too far.

Re: Now where were we?

Superb work, but still miss the shadows of the propeller blades!

Cheers, Simon
