Re: Now where were we?

Here's another blast from my almost forgotten past. I had no idea that it had been this long since I had done any work on it.

I am absolutely, positively, definitely going to finish this one.

You'd better. It would be a shame and we would have to be on your back constantly if you didn't.

Details...Details...pointless never to be seen, details.

Seat and control column are just place holders right now.

Paint will remain generic until I finally settle on a scheme that I like. As usual I'm open to suggestions.

Re: Now where were we?

Looking Splendid GFR:

Fw. Heinz Girnth (II/JG-53) flew this captured P-38 (E?) T9+XB from the Meditteranean to Germany. Used by the Sonder-kommando Rosarius 1943-44 for demonstrations to various luftwaffe units.

GFR!

You have done an amazing job! For sure the best P-38 profile I know!

Cheers,

I got yer paint scheme right here!

459th Fighter Squadron, 80th Fighter Group

At the very least, it would draw attention away from the (covered up) nose and to the booms!
