now that we have Mark Styling on the site, I have had to lift my game. here is my DRAFT version of an early Ki-43 (the Japanese letters say "Type One fighter" - just for fun). Gimme a few more days and youse gonna see more of this little baybee, once she leaves the factory and heads to the front,
I think you need to rework the wing's lighting, to make it stick out much more. Maybe some stronger highlights in the leading edge and uppersurface? There's good potential to it so you should try doing something. As usual, for shape definition, I'll suggest you look at BH's A6M profile.
i wanted to be so gentle with you, but look at the comparision image, lots of little things, but the two that matter are the windscreen to rear of engine cowl is too flat and the tailplane is too thin.
now i will slip away before GM spots me.

good critique. instead of heading to the front, I'm gonna park this baybee in the factory while the boys make some airframe (and lighting) modifications. don't go far y'hear,
sorry for dely in replying, busy with real world work
the front still needs more curve, and i have slapped a "no fly" order on the aircraft, with those thin horizontal control surfaces the first time they tried to climb, dive or turn they would be ripped off!!!
they need to be double the thickness you have them.
also don't forget the combat flaps (butterfly flaps) under the wings and the gun port opening needs making more thinnner, at the moment it looks like the guns shoot at 45%.
sorry
