Schatten, Reflexe, Gebrauchsspuren, Farbabplatzer etc.

Exactly, it's all about the intended use.

For who is it being drawn?

How is it going to be published?

What is the user going to do with the illustration?

I have been drawing for RC Scale models for thirty years and have had a lot of contacts with competing Modellers and pilots and a lot of them find nothing more annoying in drawings then:

Shadows, reflections, wear and tear and paint abbrasion.

I have to say though that I couldnt draw these profiles myself anyway, I have only have experience with computer artwork (not sure about this one). I however am interested in doing this myself and will try and learn the skills to do this.

But again my customers don't really need this, and to be honest I don't make anymore for these exterior drawings, but no more money ...
What I made of it

The B-1 had a fixed double bladed wooden prop (Schwarz propellor) which was quite fat. It wasn't until the C's were introduced that a variable pitch 3 bladed prop was added. Heli has illustrated this correctly.

Very nice profile, Herr Schmidt,
It was a shame that such historic machine after surviving in service until the year 1951 in the Spanish Air force, went to the scrapyard and broken up :-(

Best regards
Fran

One further note here. Heli has done his homework. No 109 ever shipped to Spain was equipped with an RT unit...hence the lack of a radio mast. This is a mistake many others have made in profiling German fighters in Spain.

Sorry Sweetie, but that photo was taken in Germany prior to being shipped to Spain. I defy you to find a single example of a 109 serving in Spain that sports an antenna.
