Hey Darko Here is something I put together on another forum a long time ago, I updated it recently because Vacajun found it. It might help you as it did the original poster

I've put together something that I hope will help Milligraf. Basically it is a way to make the plane look more 3D. This is done in photoshop CS2 and using paths. I think it should work in other programs. First we make a path following the shape of the fuselage
We make a selection of the path, fill it with black, contract the selection by about 5 pixels, feather the new selection by about 4 pixels and press delete and we get this.
Then we mess with the opacity till we get something like this
Makes it look a lot more 3D with very little extra effort !
This trick will work on all tubes and bumps, like the canon bulges on your Fang

Thanks Supah, interesting technique
I will try this ASAP, I hope it will turn out well
Well the base drawings of the Pilan aren't mine so I don't know if that is really ok Perhaps I will do a simple tutorial out of the droptanks for the Pilatus.

Thank you Supah for your advices, I am very happy with the result
Entire fuselage is now subtle shadowed. Also tried some glass work.
It is time to focus on an underwing surfaces. I need some time to study other people works and get some inspiration
