Why not just use a vector mask in photoshop either on the layer or group? Saves jumping between the two so much, I normally start off doing all the vector work, outlines, panel lines, rivets in illustrator, import the lot into photy and use that for building up the shading, colours etc, easier then to make the changes without having to reimport or place stuff in Illustrator which isn't all that raster friendly tbh.

Looking good though.

I also start vector work in Illustrator.
What kind of thing is "import the lot into photy" specifically?
I am using the vector mask in Photoshop. Since two software, Photoshop and Illustrator, is used simultaneously, it only carries out copy paste.

Yes, import is just a slightly more technical term for copy and paste. I do not understand why you take it back to illustrator again though.
