Hurricane Mk.IIc on the board

This is the next project I'm working on....

It is my hope that you good people will guide me through this one. So I can learn and make this one better than my previous one.

Yes I have read many of the tut's here, but that doesn't mean that I always understand them.

Re: Hurricane Mk.IIc on the board

We'll do our best to help you. SPS is clearly the best place to learn in any case.

This is a bit early to comment, but for your next profile, I'll give this advice. Start with giving the aircraft shape, not color. If you "paint it" and then only shade it, you might find your shading is inadequate with a different livery.

What I do now is draw the aircraft outline in 50% grey, shade/light (i.e. shape) it until I'm satisfied with the shape, and then only paint it.

This is what I'm currently working on (He 177A-5). Once I have given it a real shape (with wings and stuff like that ), I will add the paintjob. After that, I will add the weathering.

LOL, the He-177 was my next idea. Still gonna do it in a few months when I'm done with this one.
