Here“s a first sample of one of my upcomming projects: the S-3 Viking.
This odd looking aircraft sure has some challenging shapes. The blended fuselage and wing root put some grey hairs on my head.

anybody know how to add larger files than this one ? the original was about 200 kb but when uploaded it was only about 33 kb

Re: Hoover

Oh...I felt we were about to see a new Mustang around here. Its been a while.

Looks nice, even if I'm a little disappointed.

Re: Hoover

Oh-oh... Looks like some discussion coming about inaccuracies of basic shape--wing, nacelle, nose,...

Where did your lines come from?

Re: Hoover

Wow! That is impressive. It's 3D, right?

There are shading lessons to be learned here, by observing the wing root. Not to mention the curved shadow on the external tank... (No, I'm not going to shut up).

Re: Hoover

Always tricky getting the balance on how heavy lines are, how much dirt/weathering to include.

I agree it's on the high end, but naval birds do tend to get pretty dirty... John's on an anti-weathering crusade...
