Hawker Hunter T-7 and F-6

Hi guys,

I am currently working on these two hunters for a assignment, first I am drawing the Two seater and after that the single seater. I am hoping to reuse parts from one on the other which should be doable as Hawker converted single to two seaters in real life too I made a thread about this one before but I think it got lost in the server crash. Hope to have some images online soon

Re: Hawker Hunter T-7 and F-6

Thanks Kakukk I'd like to do a RNLAF Trainer version, they were painted silver so not bare metal. The metallic effect is a lot more subdued. Anyone have any hints on how to do this?

And a bit more work done, did the wing, reworked the front fuselage and did the bulge over the cannon

Yeah I think it broke when the old forum backup was activated.

The hunter I will be drawing! That day-glow orange will be a challenge They should have called it "Eye-sore" orange!

Could be worse, you could be using acrylics or waterpaint.

Wicked subject, one I've been wanting to do myself for a long time...
And Dutch bare metal/dayglo schemes look superb!

Re: Hawker Hunter T-7 and F-6

Great stuff !
I´m puzzled however: I have seen more than a few of those darkgrey renditions, fx. like the Hunter posted here by Subah. Do you make those in order to concentrate on the highlighting/shadings only to add the "real" aircraft later ?
I use a method that´s a bit different, but I´m always curious to how other make profiles...you never know you may learn something :-)

Thanks !
