Overall I'd say you are off to a very good start One thing I would tone down a bit is the dirt layer around your panel lines. In its current state it makes it look more like a gate guard then a operational aircraft. Again, I like the way this appears to be heading, the shadows on the fuselage look very promissing!

The beginning promises a good result.

Going slow with this one...
Very little to show... a bit of highlights study...

My mistake.. I'm actually using gate guards as models for this one... thanks will take it in mind.

I don't know about the highlights JGrigolo, If you do use them in their current form I would lower their opacity quite a bit. Also I would try to add as much of the rivets as possible as they add quite a bit to the surface detail.

Still slow on this one.. and making a lot of mistakes (just flatened the layers... and without a backup of this stage of development.... )

some details:

Re: Gloster Meteor - WIP

Nice!

The shading makes it look as if the nose forward of the cannon ports is a bit "pinched" at some point. Maybe blur that section a little?

If you want to join my clan of BH-worshippers, you should also add a little dark on the top of the fuselage, and a little reflected light on the lower fuselage. (Sorry, Dave. I had to).
