Fl 156 Storch

Going to be on a bit of a Storch bender in the next few weeks but need to get some basics right. Already plundered John's collection (which is a huge help as always) but does anyone have good images of where the undercarriage struts join the fuselage? I've not found the right walk around yet. Plus any other material would be more than gratefully received.

Anyway here's one of those old wip files.

I'm sure there will be plenty of opportunities for squiggly stuff, though I may regret it.

Re: Fl 156 Storch

Chris, I took pictures of the MS.502 Criquet F-AZCP at La Ferté Alais this summer. The landing gear is the same AFAIK. I'll send you the pics by email.

Re: Fl 156 Storch

Anyone got a good photo of a C2 or later with a good shot of the M15 in place with the mount? Seems that they don't carry guns these days which isn't a lot of fun.

Re: Fl 156 Storch

Isn't that mount the same as used in Stukas, Ju88 etc? Just a thought of where you might find more photos.

Re: Fl 156 Storch

Bugger, already drawn a side profile of a M15 and the damn thing is on it's side...have to rotate the monitor I guess. If I can get out of going to a kids party in the morning I'll drop it in and then try to find some more links to annoy John!

I assume they weren't always prepared for a quick game of rugby but the thing was to catch spent casings. Sticking the drum mags on at 90° must have been fun as well.

Re: Fl 156 Storch

Some more Stork schemes.

Anyone have some good indication of the colour mixes on North African schemes, the RLMs seem too dark/light compared to photo and other profiles but often look like a mix, I've not found anything definite on the Storch schemes however.
