Re: Fiat Cr.42

Very nice!

On the sample, it's true that the bulges look outlined...

I find a photo in the "Italian aces of ...."
In this picture we can see Mario Visintini, poses near his plane ?? .
in this book we have got a colour profile about his plane, the squadron patch on the profile is different ( horse over Africa) ,but if we take a look on the photo the squadron patch consist of only Africa.

What i have to do now??
Follow the photo or follow the bad old profile drawing instruction.

Sorry Balązs but there is an horse there! If you work a bit with HUE Contrast and Brightness it comes out a bit.

Balązs, this could easily be a damaged photo. Until such time as there is definitive proof I'd leave the profile as it is. The so called "horse" could be anything.....reflection, smudging, an errant fingerprint on the photographer's lens. Stick with what you see and know to be certain. All else is just pure speculation.

I should disagree, mainly as it's alredy reported that Visintini had a specific logo painted on his CR: a black Africa with a red horse (same as 4th Wing one). So I think Balazs won't make any mistake by adding it.
