Re: Fantasy Aircraft Series

Bloody hell mate, you have WAY too much time on your hands!

That VF-17 Spitfire reminds me of a scale model I made some two decades ago. It was a really crappy 1/72 model kit (Frog?) Spitfire V/trop, which I gave the Navy three-tone camo scheme, Dutch flags on fuselage and wings and "Too Big and Too Heavy" nose art!

That Jersey Jerk F-15 scheme might just be adopted by a USAF historical flight one day, it fits surprisingly well.

Re: Fantasy Aircraft Series

Hello All! I just found this site today and I can't say how much I enjoyed the Fantasy aircraft that were pictured. Whoever did this has great talent. To that end, I would love to see some additions to the collections. I ask because I don't have the artistic ability to do it. I'm thinking that since there are already several fictional aircraft in the collection a couple more might be nice. Specifically, the martian spaceship from the original War of the Worlds movie. Maybe a nice SAC or VVS scheme? After the Martians died, there would be hundreds of those things laying around so theoretically every major air force in the world could have some. Maybe some original Cylon raiders as well? Maybe an armed version of the Orion Space Shuttle from 2001: A Space Odyssey? Or some alternate schemes for a B-70 or B-49? Or a Hawk From Space: 1999? The Eagle from that show that you have pictured here is Cool! Just some thoughts from a newbie. Thanks for any consideration you give to these requests. Great work!
